After the material is unloaded, it is transported to the silo through pipe chain transportation or pneumatic transportation for solid-gas separation. The material enters the silo, and the gas with dust is filtered by the dust collector and discharged into the atmosphere.

Silos are easy to store materials and are usually steel or reinforced concrete structures. The geometric shape of the silo: the upper part is mostly cylindrical living prism, and the lower part is contracted as a conical funnel with a discharge port. The materials in the warehouse are discharged and transported from the stage discharge port by self-weight. The elevated silo can reduce the occupied area and make full use of the space. The elevated silo can be set up separately, or several single silo can be formed into a long skirt. Elevated silos are developing towards large-scale. The diameter of the silo can be up to 30 meters and the ratio of height to diameter is greater than 2.5.

According to needs, the silo can be equipped with a weighing system, which can display the weight of the material in the silo in real time.
